Why they might be annoying
Their name sounds like the name of a street.
They were an excellent team killed off by bad ownership.
Mike Ilitch sold the team simply because he thought arena football was 'stupid.'
Their next owner moved from Detroit to Massachusetts, which had half the attendance Detroit had.

They employed compulsive gambler Art Schlichter.
Why they might not be annoying
They were the undisputed dominant team in the Arena Football League's early years.
They made the ArenaBowl every year they were in Detroit (winning four out of those six years).
They had an incredible 58-12 record in Detroit.
Despite their short history, they are still fondly remembered by arena football fans.
Three years after their folding, their remaining assets were bought which led to the forming of the Grand Rapids Rampage.
