Why he might be annoying
When he studied art, he made fetish paintings primarily of bondage.
His wife Carol changed her name to Eve.
They lived at her parents' house and later divorced.
Sid Vicious beat him up after he told Sid's girlfriend that he would give Sid bass lessons.
He signed Malcolm McLaren as his manager, then within a year, Malcolm got the Ants to get rid of Adam, saying he was old and washed up.
He is a vegetarian.
Why he might not be annoying
He chose the name Adam as a reference to the first man and Ant as an insect, like the Beatles.
Adam reformed the Ants with new members and went on to success.
