Why he might be annoying:

    He’s an alcoholic and a drug addict.
    The first he drank was when he was three years old.
    He was arrested for DUI in 2002.
    He was the first person to get knocked out in the competition.
    He’s one of the more forgettable contestants on ‘The Contender’.
    While he has an impressive record of 20 wins, they were mostly over some of the worst in boxing.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He’s extremely religious and found God as a way to turn his life around from drinking and drugging.
    He fought for Don King.
    While sparring with Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray was very impressed with his speed and thought he could be a real powerhouse in the ring.
    Despite getting his clock cleaned in the fight with Anthony Bonsante, he got a huge ovation from the crowd, including Sharon Stone, who personally congratulated him.
    He also gained the respect of Sylvester Stallone, who told him he showed tremendous heart in the ring.
    Despite a lot of ill feelings towards Anthony from the other boxers for choosing to fight Brent instead of Jimmy Lange, who both teams agreed would fight Anthony; Brent held no animosity toward him.
