He was an extremely stiff man, who slicked his hair back with petroleum jelly.

He cut taxes and lowered the deficit during his term.
His nickname was 'Silent Cal.'
He said: 'If you don't say anything, you won't be called on to repeat it.'
A story goes that a woman came up to him and said she bet her friends she could get him to say at least three words to her, he replied: 'You Lose.'
He replaced Warren Harding who died in office in the middle of scandal. Coolidge's honesty brought back dignity to the White House.
