Why he might not be annoying
He wanted to be a rock & roll singer and released two songs. The first was 'Start Movin' (In My Direction),' it topped at #9, 'Lasting Love,' only reached #27 (1957).
He said 'I'll never be mistaken for Pat Boone.'
He was stabbed to death (February 12, 1976).
It was falsely assumed that his death was a result of his homosexual life style. In 1979, the killer was caught and convicted, he was the victim of a robbery.
