Nurse

The Resume

    (circa 1972- )
Former resident of Wappingers Falls, New York
After being missing for four days, was discovered in a garbage bag, with her clothing burned, with her body smeared with dog feces and with slurs and epithets written on her body (November 28, 1987)
Claimed to have been abducted, held in a wooded area and raped repeatedly by three white men, at least one of whom was a police officer
Eventually moved to Virginia and became a nurse

Why she might be annoying:

A rape kit was administered and found no evidence of sexual assault.
Despite allegedly being held in the woods for four days, she showed no signs of exposure to the elements.
Even though her clothes were burned, there were no burns on her body.
Similarly, one of the shoes she was wearing was cut through, but there was no injury to her foot.
The feces smeared on her came from her neighbor’s dog.
The epithets on her body were upside-down, suggesting she had written them herself.
Several schoolmates reported seeing her attending a party in a nearby town during the time she was missing.
Another witness reported seeing her climbing into the garbage bag.
Al Sharpton supported her, creating a media circus.
New York still has an outstanding warrant against her for ignoring a subpoena to appear before the grand jury investigating the rape allegations.

Why she might not be annoying:

The grand jury concluded no abduction, rape or assault had occurred, preventing a Duke lacrosse case type of situation.
Her motive for inventing the story was reportedly fear of her stepfather, who had served seven years in prison for killing his first wife.
When she attended college, she could not have a roommate because of security concerns.
She still receives occasional death threats.
An argument about her allegations led to Roy Innis bitch-slapping Sharpton on the Morton Downey, Jr., Show.
