Why they might be annoying
After having one the best teams of all time in the 1960s, they didn't return to the Super Bowl until 1996.
During the 1967 NFL Championship, Bart Starr pulled a quarterback sneak and scored the game winning touchdown, but some say he was pushed over by one of his offensive linemen.
Temperature at game time registered a frigid 13° below zero.
Fans killed the dog of head coach Dan Devine because the team wasn't doing well.
In the 1989 draft, they could have drafted Barry Sanders, but instead drafted Tony Mandarich, who didn't succeed.
Fans at the games wear large foam cheese hats AKA cheese heads.
You will see some drunk people without shirts at the games in December.
Mike Holmgren left the team and went to Seattle, because he wanted to be coach and GM. About two years later the GM of the team retired and gave the job to head coach Mike Sherman.
Why they might not be annoying
They pissed Peta off, when they refused to changed their name because Peta claimed the word 'Packers' is offensive to animals.
They have no real owner, so the team's goal is not to make money, but to win.
The team has hard core fans.
They have a classic sports rivalry with the Chicago Bears.
They dominated in the 1960s.
The Super Bowl Trophy is named after one of their head coaches, Vince Lombardi.
Players do the 'Lambeau Leap' (jumping into the stands) after scoring touchdowns. This was started by safety LeRoy Butler after he returned a fumble for a touchdown.
They play in a small town.
Their are no bad seats at Lambeau Field.
