Why he might be annoying:

He screws up the Presidential order by being the 22nd and 24th President.
He admits he was the father of an illegitimate son.
He paid for a substitute and did not have to fight in the Civil War.
He went by his middle name, Grover, rather than his first name, Stephen.
At age 49, he married 21 year old Frances Folsom.
Although a Democrat, Woodrow Wilson labeled him 'a Conservative Republican.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the first President to marry while in the White House.
When rumors surfaced of his illegitimate son and even though it threatened his election, he told his aides: 'Tell the truth.'
Even though he lost to Benjamin Harrison in 1888, he won the popular vote.
Because of his cancer his upper palate and jaw were made of rubber.
