The Resume

    (circa 1935- )
    Born in United States
    Resided in Wichita, Kansas
Pastor of Immanuel Outreach Centre Church of God in Christ in Wichita, Kansas
Became ill after his airline flight arrived at Orlando International Airport (August 13, 2007)
Was discovered seriously ill after spending two days unattended at the airport (August 15, 2007)

Why he might be annoying:

He asked for assistance when he felt ill after his flight arrived at the airport, but he left the area of the terminal where a skycap who assisted him had been monitoring him.
His wife initially did not think his illness was serious after he called her with the skycap's phone and told her that a ride to his hotel had been arranged.
Surveillance videos showed him moving about freely at various locations throughout the terminal before becoming too ill to move around.
When he was approached by airport staff or others, he indicated he was alright or waiting for someone to arrive to take him to his destination.
He had health issues and suffered a stroke sometime during his stay at the terminal which impaired his judgment and ability to communicate his needs to others.
Despite what the surveillance footage showed, his family questioned why he did not receive more attention or assistance from airport staff before his movement became limited.
A missing person's report was filed with Orlando Police after his family did not hear from him, which led to the assistance that he needed.
Initial media reports of him remaining in one terminal location in a wheelchair for his entire airport stay were erroneous.

Why he might not be annoying:

Despite his ordeal, he and his family were relieved that he did not become a crime victim while his whereabouts were unknown to those concerned.
A ride may have been arranged to take him from the airport after his arrival but might have been unable to locate him.
He was a co- founder of the gospel music workshop that he was scheduled to attend in Orlando before his illness and stroke.
He was pastor of his church in Wichita for over forty years, as well as a pastor of a Salina, Kansas church during part of his Wichita ministry.
He and his wife were married for over fifty years and had seven children.
