Why he might be annoying
He wears glasses similar to those of Woody Allen.
He divorced his first wife, and he had two daughters from that marriage.
He always seems to run back and forth between Oxbridge and Harvard.
For a long time, his kids from his second marriage did not seem to know a world outside academia, mainly because he does not know a world outside academia.
His son from his second marriage once asked someone: 'Is Washington, DC closer to Palo Alto or New Haven?'
He probably would not be able to handle a non-academic job.
He had children out of wedlock with his second wife.
Why he might not be annoying
He survived and beat mouth cancer in 1952.
He attended Cambridge, where he got his bachelors and his Ph.D.
He got the Nobel Prize for economics in 1998.
His second wife died from cancer, leaving him to raise their two kids alone.
He was the first Asian person to head an Oxbridge college, being Master of Trinity college between 1998-2004.
He kept his Indian citizenship.
His third wife is Emma Rothschild.
