She dropped out from the University of North Texas after spending only two years there.
There was criticism from people over the fact that 'Come Away With Me' came out on a jazz record label (Blue Note Records), despite the fact that it wasn't really a jazz album.
Until recently, she barely kept in touch with her father.
Why she might not be annoying
Her debut album has been widely praised by many critics.
She likes listening to many different types of music.
She has been considered by many people to have a great voice for singing.
She does not want to be known for being the daughter of a famous sitar player, as she wants to establish her own identity.
