Why she might be annoying
Despite suffering many concussions, she refuses to wear padding or a helmet.
Her nickname is 'The Terrorizer.'
Her bellybutton is pierced.
She is a self professed control freak.
She dropped out of school at 15.
She has a tattoo of a woman in a cradle surrounded by fire that goes down her entire back.
She gets angry when she gets hurt.
She hates when medical professionals attend to her complaining she doesn't want that many hands on her.
She smokes weed.
Why she might not be annoying
She crashed in February 2002, tearing up her knee, and took her out of competition for nine months.
When she returned to snowboard she tore her meniscus and ACL on the same knee (November 2002).
She says that returning from an injury is a 'mental game,' not in being scared but in trusting the previously injured area to be strong enough to take the punishment.
She told Kidzworld that when she tore her ACL: 'I was in the hospital for about 14 days. I did a lot of screaming that day. It really hurt.'
While performing a stunt on the David Letterman Show things went awry. She fell from a ramp and was knocked unconscious (February 5, 2004).
She recovered quickly from the 15 foot fall and spent less than 24 hours in the hospital.
She quickly joked: 'The only thing I am upset about is that the French judge only gave me a 5.6.'
Due to the accident, Letterman cancelled the February 5th telecast and went directly to the hospital.
She has an eclectic appreciation of music from Stevie Nicks to Eminem to DJ Crush to Willie Nelson.
She appeared on the cover of February 2004 FHM in just body paint.
She is the first female to appear on the Mack Dawg videos.
She told FHM she could see why she might be attracted to another woman because they smell better and look better.
She said her best body feature is her ass.
She will pose in a belly shirts in the snow.
She participates in Boarding for Breast Cancer.
She taught Bethany Hamilton to snowboard.
