Why he might be annoying:

    He is a golf enthusiast.
He didn't begin playing football until his senior year of high school.
He spent his entire career playing on poor or mediocre Chargers teams.
He named one of his sons after himself.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered a clutch player in his prime years.
He was inducted to both the Pro and College Football Hall of Fame, along with being named to the NFL's 75th Anniversary Team.
