Murdered 13 people at Ft. Hood US Military Base near Killeen, Texas before being shot four times (November 5, 2009)

He went on a brutal killing spree killing 13 and injuring 30 others.
He attended Virginia Tech which is coincidentally the same school where Cho Seung-Hui killed 32 students.
He also reportedly had attended the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia (the same place where two 9/11 hijackers came to worship).
According to Col. Terry Lee, 'Hasan said, he said maybe Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor. At first we thought he meant help the armed forces, but apparently that wasn't the case. Other times he would make comments we shouldn't be in the war in the first place.'
ABC News reported that he was attempting to contact Al-Qaeda.
Before being transferred to Fort Hood, he was given poor performance evaluation.
His killings happened 18 years after a gunman shot and killed 22 people before killing himself at a Luby's fast food restaurant in nearby Killeen, Texas.

His cousin stated that before the incident, he displayed no expressions of radical Islam.
He miraculously survived getting shot four times despite many news reports stating that he was dead.
He completed his residency of psychiatry at Walter Reed in 2001.
