The Resume

    (June 2, 1971- )
    Born in Boston, Massachusetts
    President of Marvel Studios
Member of the Producers Guild of America
Producer of 'Iron Man,' 'Thor,' 'Captain America: The First Avenger,' 'Avengers: Infinity War,' 'Spider-Man: Homecoming,' 'Black Panther,' and 'Avengers: Endgame'

Why he might be annoying:

He rarely makes public appearances without his trademark baseball cap.
He has no film credit to his name that is not attached to an existing superhero franchise.
He was rejected five times by the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
He was hired to work as Avi Arad's second-in-command at Marvel Studios due to his knowledge of the Marvel Universe (who knew?)
He was at the center of the heated battle between Sony and Marvel over the rights to the Spider-Man character, which ultimately resulted in the character being pulled from all future MCU projects (August 2019).

Why he might not be annoying:

He produced the first superhero film ever to receive a Best Picture nomination or to win an Academy Award (Black Panther).
Avengers: Endgame, a film he produced, is one of the top highest-grossing films of all time.
The films he has produced have a collective worldwide box office gross of over $25 billion.
He was awarded the David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures by the Producers Guild of America (2019).
He gives hope to all Comic-Con cult aficionadoes that their fandom could have actual monetary value someday.
