He starred in his own syndicated TV series from 1975 to 1978.
He has his own theater called 'The Blue Velvet Theater' in Branson Missouri.
He has people plaster pictures of his smiling face all over Missouri, in an attempt to get people to go and see his shows.
Bobby Vinton's biggest hit was 'Blue Velvet,' which was originally recorded by Tony Bennett in 1951.
He appears to have had a facelift.
The title of his Christmas show is 'Bobby Vinton's Kissin' Christmas Spectacular.'
Why he might not be annoying
His version of 'Blue Velvet' stayed at Number one for three weeks (1963).
The movie 'Blue Velvet' which was directed by David Lynch, used Vinton's song.
