Why she might be annoying
Her show 'The Site,' which was a daily show about the Internet and technology, was supposed to be one of MSNBC's marquee shows when the network debuted, but the show was cancelled by the network just over a year after it first aired.
The official fan club of hers, which once existed, sold coffee mugs with her likeness on it.
She dropped out of Harvard when she was 21.
Why she might not be annoying
She left an easy job of co-anchoring NBC's high-rated weekend morning show to join CNN's daily morning show because she wanted a chance to report 'harder news' (July 2003).
Despite the fact that 'The Site' on MSNBC lasted a short period of time, she did gain a huge cult following among viewers.
Her mother is black-Cuban and her father is Irish-Australian.
She is ranked in People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World (2000).
She was accepted to Harvard.
After dropping out of Harvard, she gave birth and returned to complete her degree.
