    The series’ name changed from season to season.
    The Blackadder family seemed to decline in social status.
    How did slimy Blackadder and moronic Baldrick manage to reproduce anyway?
    The first season was very expensive for a BBC series and the budget was cut so a second season could be made.

Why Black Adder might not be annoying:

    The show was called ‘the most gripping sitcom since 1380.’
    Blackadder and Baldrick made a classic comic team.
    The show took a hilariously skewed look at British history.
    There was a Christmas special, ‘Blackadder’s Christmas Carol,’ set during the Victorian era.
    The fourth and final season showed the tragic absurdity of war.
