    She said, 'I was an odd kid anyway, so fame was just another odd thing that happened to me.'
    She has never owned a television.
    She was estranged from her actor brother Ramon.
    Her mother was Malaysian and her father was a Fijian officer in the British army.
    She has a husky voice.
    She recorded her debut album just ten months after her first public performance.
    Her debut album sold over 5 million copies worldwide, and was really huge in Norway, where nearly a third of the population bought it.
