Why Edinburgh, Scotland might be annoying:

Its name isn't pronounced the way it's spelled (it's ‘Edd-in-BURR-uh').
    Its nickname is ‘Auld Reekie.'
It's hard to get away from the bagpipe music there.
Many old buildings are stained black from the smokestacks of the Industrial Revolution.
It was the home of Burke and Hare, the notorious grave robbers/serial killers.
It has a rivalry with Glasgow, whose residents consider it pretentious and stuck-up.
Although it is the capital of Scotland and the home of Scottish parliament, many important government matters are still decided in London.
In the 19th Century, its citizens would scream ‘Gardyloo!' and dump their chamber pots out the window.
