Why she might be annoying
Her first name is sometimes spelled Yelena and Lena and her last name as Kipper.
She sued TaTu's management Neformat for refusing to pay her royalties.
She eventually left the group as writer, because she felt their videos were way too explicit.
Ni Chya only gets mentioned in the media because she is suing Tatu's management.
She was lovers with Ivan Shapovalov, who created TaTu.
When she found out Ivan Shapovalov (then 36) was having sex regularly with (then 14 year old) Yulia Volkova, she revealed the story to the press (Russian law does not prohibit a 36 year old man from having sex with a 14 year old girl).
Why she might not be annoying
In part, due to her songs, TaTu sold more than seven million albums.
She won her law suit for $2,250,000, the amount of royalties due to her (June 2004).
The court fined Neformat $20,000.
TaTu asked her to produce their second album.
