Why he might be annoying
He wore #00.
He didn’t do much before and after he was with the Celtics.
He was known for his high-arching jump shots that seem to take forever to go down.
He played longer than he probably should have, and he won a NBA championship ring with the 1997 Bulls despite being a bench warmer.
Along with Larry Bird and Kevin McHale, he was mentioned in an infamous Rick Pitino rant when the Pitino-coached Celtics were sucking.
Why he might not be annoying
Along with Celtic teammates Bird and McHale, he formed one of the best front lines in NBA history.
His nickname, ‘The Chief,’ came from the character from ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’.
He was a durable and versatile player.
He held the record for most NBA games played and seasons played.
He was part of four NBA championship teams.
He was selected one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players (1996).
He practices martial arts when not playing basketball.
