The Resume

    (May 31, 1860-January 22, 1942)
    Born in Munich, Germany
    Post-Impressionist painter
Leader of the Camden Town Group of artists
Known for his scenes of British music halls

Why he might be annoying:

His first wife divorced him over his constant infidelity.
At the funeral of his second wife, he reportedly threw some of her ashes onto the mourners.
He had such a morbid interest in sensational murders that amateur sleuths have tried to finger him as Jack the Ripper.
A recent biographer suggested that if Sickert were still alive, he would enjoy the notoriety from the Ripper accusations (2005).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was honored with a one-man exhibit at the National Gallery (1941).
He influenced Lucien Freud and Francis Bacon.
He was in France during most of the Ripper murders, which should rule him out as a suspect.
