Why he might be annoying
He became typecast as Superman.
He was a pot bellied Superman.
He was divorced.
He was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head after a party at his girlfriend, Lenore Lemon's home.
His death was branded a suicide, though many close to him insist he was murdered.
An urban legends makes the ridiculous accusation that he became convinced that he was actually Superman and died by trying to fly out of a high rise window.
Due to his strong identity with Superman, when seen in his role in 'Gone With the Wind,' audience members will inevitable say, 'hey that's Superman.
Why he might not be annoying
His parents divorced when he was very young.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
While visiting a school once, a little boy pulled out a gun to test if he was really Superman. Reeves, thinking quick, stopped the kid by saying a bullet fired at Superman would bounce off and hit the other children.
He often used his stardom to raise money for cancer research.
