Why Nintendo DS might be annoying
Nintendo gets anal whenever they are asked if this system would replace the Game Boy line.
They repeatedly refer to it as their 'third pillar' (their home consoles are their 'first' and their Game Boy portables are their 'second').
Some analysts suggest it's a marketing move to keep the Game Boy surviving in case the DS failed.
It has been known to interfere with television signals.
Nintendo made a deal with McDonald's to install DS Wi-Fi connection hot spots in the restaurants.
Its 'Nintendogs' game revived the virtual pet craze, as real pets continue to be neglected.
Why Nintendo DS might not be annoying
It can allow users to play games on one screen while tracking their position on the game map on another screen.
It was the first Nintendo system to sell out throughout Japan.
Its touch screen can be used like a computer mouse or a joystick.
It has a microphone which is used for games that incorporate voice recognition.
Its Wi-Fi connection allows users to play multiplayer games 30 feet apart.
Unlike most consoles, it has no region restrictions.
