First Arab woman to win Miss Israel beauty pageant

Many Jews were unhappy that an Arab represented a predominantly Jewish nation.
To make things worse, many Arabs were less than thrilled with the fact that she exposed her body to millions of people.
For a beauty queen, pictures of her are rather hard to find.

Regarding the controversy of her win, she simply said: 'I belong to Israel. I don't think about whether I am an Arab or Jew.'
Her ambition is to become a kindergarten teacher.
She admires President Clinton.
Besides her native Arabic, she is fluent in Hebrew and English.
