He died the same day as Freddie Mercury, Mercury's death completely overshadowed his.
His Kiss personality was 'The Fox.'
When he was a teenager, he wanted to be the next Ringo Starr.

Because of his hair, a picture of him appeared in the centerfold of the New York Daily Herald with the caption 'Is it a boy or girl?' (February 1973).
