He skipped his senior season at Kentucky to declare for the NBA Draft.
He spent his first few NBA seasons on a horrible Mavericks team.
He requested a trade out of Dallas, as he felt he could no longer be part of the Mavs rebuilding process after four seasons.
His last team was technically the Philadelphia 76ers, but he didn't play a game for the team due to a career ending knee injury.

He is the son of former heavyweight boxer Bobby Mashburn.
He, along with Jason Kidd and Jim Jackson were considered the building blocks for the Mavericks in the early 1990's.
He is the fourth youngest player in NBA history to record 50+ points in a game.
He set new a new Mavericks franchise records for points scored by a rookie during a season.
He had his number 24 honored by the University of Kentucky.
