Wrestler

The Resume

    (February 20, 1921-June 26, 1992)
    Birth name was Herman Rhode
First ever WWE (Then WWWF) Heavyweight Champion and former NWA Heavyweight Champion
Member of the WWE Hall of Fame
Was known as 'The Nature Boy'

Why he might be annoying:

He lost the WWE Heavyweight Title in his first title defense.
His only title defense lasted less than a minute.
Many believe his tournament final victory to win the title was a sham because promoters Vince McMahon, Sr. and Toots Mondt had a parting of ways with the NWA (1963).
During his prime, he was one of the most hated men in the business, not only by fans, but also by promoters.
He was difficult to do business with since he knew how much power he had at the box office.
Many wrestlers didn't like him because he had a reputation for being a bully in the ring.
He and Lou Thesz had a huge disregard for each other and Thesz was quoted as saying: 'There isn't enough whiskey in Canada to get me to put Rogers over.'
He's in photographs wearing title belts and holding trophies that even the most knowledgeable of wrestling journalists have no idea of what those awards represent.
His relationship with the WWE ended due to a lawsuit.
He legally changed his name to Nature Boy Buddy Rogers.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the first-ever WWE Heavyweight Champion.
He was wrestling's original 'Nature Boy.'
Ric Flair named himself after Rogers.
Many claim him to be the best worker of the 50's and the biggest drawing heel ever.
His NWA Heavyweight Title match with then-champion Pat O'Connor remains the biggest drawing NWA title match in history and was attended by one of the largest paid crowds to ever watch pro wrestling in the United States.
Many hail Roddy Piper's 'Piper's Pit' as the first 'wrestling talk show' but Buddy Rogers started the fad in the 70's with 'Rogers' Corner.'
He's one of only two men to hold both the NWA and WWWF Heavyweight titles.
He's a member of the WWF Hall of Fame, the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
He was in such great physical condition that when he was 70, he knocked out a 29-year-old during a brawl in a deli.
He suffered three strokes in a week (two on the same day), which eventually led to his death.
