The creators of ‘Oz’ never seemed to know what to do with his character.
He has played six separate characters on ‘Law & Order.’
He was such a horrible dancer that parts of the stage musical ‘My Favorite Year’ had to be revised to accommodate him.
One critic said his performance in the show was ‘weak.’
Many ‘Oz’ fans found his character irritating.

He served in the U.S. Army.
One director wrote a new English translation of Molière’s ‘The Miser’ specifically for him.
He’s had bit parts in several memorable films.
He and George Morfogen brought a much-needed geriatric presence to ‘Oz.’
