Like any psychic, she plays up her occasional success while ignoring her wrong calls.
She predicted Jimmy Carter would be re-elected and then assassinated on the White House lawn.
She predicted Ronald Reagan would be killed by men wearing foreign military uniforms.
After the assassination of Anwar Sadat, she realized she had simply named the wrong president.
She considers her best case one where she described to police the site near Gardner, Massachusetts, where a missing small plane had crashed (1984). The two people to first reach the crash site said her description was 'totally wrong' and 'I don't think she got anything right.'
She said, 'I don't know why anyone would like to be tested by skeptics.'
She smokes.

She predicted Reagan would be shot in the chest but live.
Former FBI profiler Robert Ressler claimed, 'I would say she was never 100% wrong.'
She said, 'I don't solve the cases. The police do.'
