Why he might be annoying:

His ideas have influenced Islamic terrorist organizations, which tarnishes Islam’s reputation.
He strongly criticized American culture in particular and Western culture in general.
His relations with Gamal Abdel Nasser worsened when the latter overthrew Egypt’s pro-western government at that time (July 1952).
He tried to assassinate Gamal Abdel Nasser (1954).
He shares the same mustache style with Hitler, but wider.
His magnum opus, In the Shade of the Koran, called Jews a force of evil throughout history, while condemning their suffering at the hands of Pharaoh.
Osama Bin Laden was one of his brother’s students.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was tortured under Gamal Abdel Nasser’s regime.
He remained single throughout his life because he couldn’t find a like-minded woman as his wife.
He prevented Naguib Mahfouz from being a nobody.
He suffered from respiratory illnesses and other health problems throughout his life, which even affected his appearance.
Even though he opposed Western culture, he embraced Western technology.
All of his siblings went to jail with him during his second arrest.
