Duke of Gloucester, then King of England (1483-1485)
Subject of a William Shakespeare play
A skeleton discovered under a Leicester parking lot was confirmed as his through DNA testing (February 4, 2013)
He is portrayed as a deformed, hunchbacked villain in Shakespeare's play.
He imprisoned his two nephews in the Tower of London.
He had his nephews declared illegitimate.

He allegedly wanted to marry his own niece.
He was killed at the Battle of Bosworth (1485).
He was most likely not deformed and hunchbacked. (His long lost remains do suggest he suffered from scoliosis.)
