His parents divorced when he was three, but he remained close to both, learning the guitar from his dad.
He's a big fan of country supergroup Alabama.
The first song he learned to play was their, 'My Home is in Alabama' and he frequently wears their t-shirts in concert or in his videos.
He doesn't take himself too seriously.
He's polite, open and friendly in interviews.
His first album went platinum, and his second two were certified gold.
He has an excellent live show.
He looks much younger than he is.
