Why she might be annoying:

    She originally attended graduate school at the University of California at Berkeley to study history.
    However, she dropped out to become an editorial assistant at publishing company Alfred A. Knopf.
    Her news story about Jessica Cutler, a staff assistant to Republican Ohio senator Mike DeWine, and her acceptance money from a top Bush administration official in exchange for sexual favors, gained infamy.
    She received criticism for agreeing to appear on Don Imus's radio show in light of his racially and sexually inappropriate comments because she wanted to be considered part of the media elite.
    In 2012, book publisher Penguin Group sued Cox for the return of $81,250 over a book that she never published under their company.
    She is divorced.

    She was a writer for her high school newspaper.
    She graduated from the University of Chicago with an AB in history.
    She became a contributing editor for 'Playboy' magazine.
    She thanked fellow reporter and journalist Greta Van Susteren for saving her life after Cox suffered an allergic reaction from eating lentil salad.
