Why he might be annoying:

    He introduced the controversial SOPA bill, which many criticized as internet censorship.
    His district includes the wealthier parts of San Antonio and Austin.
    By introducing SOPA, he became public enemy number one of many computer geeks.
    After introducing the bill, his Facebook page had to be taken down because it was flooded with nasty remarks.
    He is a Christian Scientist.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He graduated from the Episcopal School of Texas, Yale, and the Southern Methodist University Law School.
    Since 1988, he never won his district with less than 73% of the vote.
    He works well with House members across the aisle.
