Why he might be annoying:

He weighed in excess of 300 pounds, the heaviest American president. Due to his size he got stuck in the White House bathtub.
He won the nomination by what was called 'the steamroller method.' Roosevelt was so insensed by him stealing the nomination, that he ran against him as an independent.
He negotiated a free trade agreement with Canada only to ultimately have Canada reject it.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the only President to serve on the Supreme Court.
During his administration the postal savings system, parcel post and an independent Department of Labor were created.
During his administration Arizona and New Mexico, entered the union as the last of the 48 contiguous states.
He headed the construction of the Panama Canal (1904-08).
He negotiated a peace when Cuba was threatened by revolution (1906).
He retired from the Supreme Court due to heart disease and fied a month later (February 3, 1930).
He started the tradition of a president throwing out the first ball to open the baseball season (April 14, 1910).
When he got up to stretch in the seventh inning, out of respect others stood, beginning the tradition of the seventh inning stretch.
