    Full name was Abdul Aziz Ibn Abdur Rahman Al Saud
    Sultan of Nejd (1912-32)
    Conquered the kingdom of Hejaz (1926)
    Consolidated his conquests as the nation of Saudi Arabia (1932)
    He created a theocratic nation ruled by Islamic law.
    He explained his opposition to the founding of Israel with 'God cursed the Jews, therefore they don't deserve a country.'
    He spent most of Saudi Arabia's oil revenues on his family instead of developing the country.
    He had 22 wives (but no more than four at any one time) and between 80 and 100 children.
    He spent his teen years in exile after his father was overthrown by a rival dynasty.
    He cracked down on crime against pilgrims in Mecca and Medina.
    He got to put his name on a country.
    He reportedly had sex three times a day - except during battles.
