Why she might be annoying
Her look was completely 80's.
Once the 80's were over, so was she.
She appeared in many Cyndi Lauper videos.
She was involved in a 'screw job' much like Bret Hart's that's mostly forgotten about.
Before her match at Madison Square Garden on November 25, 1985, she and Vince McMahon had a dispute over her contract negotiations, which they agreed to conclude after her match. Her opponent, Spider Lady, who turned out to be the Fabulous Moolah, pinned her although Richter's shoulders weren't on the mat at all. The referee counted to three anyway and awarded Moolah the match and the title.
After that match, Richter was never seen in the WWF again.
Why she might not be annoying
At the height of her career, her popularity rivaled Hulk Hogan's.
She was well respected for her wrestling and she wrestled in a way that was never seen by a woman at the time, which changed women's wrestling.
She had a huge involvement in the start of the 'Rock N Wrestling' era, which was responsible for the wrestling boom in the mid-80's.
She shocked the world when she beat the Fabulous Moolah for the WWE Women's Title, ending Moolah's reign of twenty-eight years.
She and Heidi Lee Morgan were the first women to ever wrestle in a steel cage.
The WWE named her one of the 50 greatest wrestlers in the history of the company.
