Why Mozambique might be annoying
It is ranked as one of the poorest countries in the world.

Most men never see their 45th birthday, most women die before 47.
The average Mozambican woman gives birth to six children.

Although a long time Portuguese colony, the population is better than 99.8% non portuguese.
Only three in a thousand have a telephone.
Only four in a hundred have a radio.
Only twenty four of ten thousand have a TV set.
Some Mozambicans produce hashish and methaqualone.
Portugal tried to sell it to Britain for œ3,000,000; Britain declined (1900's).
865 black political prisoners died in Portuguese secret jails (1971-74).
Why Mozambique might not be annoying
It is a strategic halfway location for the Portuguese fleet trading with India.
It is among the highest densely populated nations, over 1,500 per square mile.
