Many people compare them to Slipknot, yet they have been around longer than Slipknot.
Instead of having a 'fuck the world' attitude in their songs, Mushroomhead blend melodies by way of fusing hip-hop,metal, industrial and gothic elements
Their masks and garb aren't as grotesque as Slipknot
They released their first three albums independently
They were an underground phenomenon in Cleveland.
