He is best known as being Betty White's husband.
Basically his entire career consisted of hosting game shows.
He didn't get a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame until after he had passed away.
His first name and his last name sort of rhyme.
He and then future wife Betty White didn't get along at first.

He passed away from cancer 20 years after his first wife did.
He is widely believed to be one of the classiest game show hosts ever.
He served in the U.S Army during World War II.
He worked right up to the time he got sick, shortly before his death.
