Why he might be annoying:

For most of his career he sported a double Mohawk.
He tried to have a singles career while his partner was out of action but he couldn't get it to work.
He and his partner were given a tryout with the WWE in the summer of 2003, but they weren't given long-term deals, mainly due to Hawk's slow and sloppy performance and his resistance to sell moves, including Rob Van Dam's finishing maneuver.
He had the gimmick of an alcoholic that ended with him pretending to commit suicide by jumping off a 200-foot platform.
During his first stint in the WWE, he and Animal had a puppet as their mascot, which is considered by many to be one of the dumbest angles in wrestling history.
He wasn't considered a very good technical wrestler, he was more known for his brawling ability.
He slept with Missy Hyatt.

Why he might not be annoying:

The Road Warriors are considered by many fans and fellow colleagues to be the great tag team of all-time.
They are one of only three tag teams in the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame.
Although his singles career wasn't spectacular, he faired better in singles competition than his tag team partner Animal.
He died in his sleep of a heart attack at forty-six.
After his death, many wrestlers and colleagues praised Hawk and couldn't say enough nice things about him.
His catch phrase 'OH, WHAT A RUSH' is one of the most famous catch phrases in the history of wrestling.
