At seventy-seven, she came out as a bi-sexual (in her book).
She feuded with Frank Sinatra (but eventually made up).
She admits that she loves to flirt with both men and women.
Even though she had two brothers, her father would call her his 'best boy.'
She got divorced at twenty-one.
She said she would be rich today if she never divorced her second husband. Her second husband mysteriously disappeared one day on the Long Island Rail Road. He was later found dead.

Why she might not be annoying:

She helped raise $20 million to fight illiteracy.
She studied Journalism at the University of Texas.
Even though Stuttering John was rude to her during an interview, she was very gracious.
She moved to New York in 1949 with only a suitcase and $50 to her name. She took a typing job to pay the bills.
