Why she might be annoying
As a child she lived in the U.S., Germany, Netherlands and England.
As a teen, she listened to Etta James and Linda Ronstadt and adopted their style as 'A kind of blue eyed soul thing--maybe.'
Her first band was called 'Mama's Cookin.'
After fourteen years with the Waves (1983-97) she went off on her own. It took almost three years for lawyers to clear up all contractual obligations for her to go solo, she said 'It took me 18 years in the band to realize the way things were but only 18 months on my own to figure out the way things are.'
She has her own solo website (naturally).
Why she might not be annoying
'Walking On Sunshine' reached #9 in American and #8 in the U.K.
Her website gets 'hits' from people looking for the porn star 'Katrina.'
Her music is up beat and happy.
