Why he might be annoying
He was fired from a job as a laborer at a studio for sneaking into a crowd scene being filmed.
A press agent said, 'He alienated himself from everyone around him. People hated to be around him, he complained so much.'
His attitude cost him a job when Buddy Ebsen refused to offer him a part on 'Barnaby Jones.'
Why he might not be annoying
He served with the Merchant Marine in WWII.
Before his acting career took off, he actually worked as a banker.
A California bank official said, 'The bankers all love him.... I have yet to hear a banker complain about the character of Drysdale.'
