Why he might be annoying
He never achieved any mainstream popularity.
He married and divorced Judith Ridley, who also appeared in 'Night of the Living Dead.'
In his most famous acting role, he is killed off five minutes into the film.
While filming a fight scene, he accidentally hit co-star Bill Hinzman in the crotch.
He eventually quit acting to pursue a career as a chiropractor.
Why he might not be annoying
In addition to acting in 'Night of the Living Dead,' he also produced it.
His line from the film ('They're coming to get you, Barbara') is a fan favorite.
He has achieved a fair amount of success creating low-budget independent features.
He said: 'In making 'Night of the Living Dead' we tried to make a good movie. The fans have made it a classic.'
