Why Punk'd might be annoying
They have repeated the same practical jokes to different celebrities.
The title, ‘Punk'd,' is prison lingo for anal rape.
It created the catch phrase, ‘you just got punk'd.'
Ashton puts his staff in danger of being attacked by celebrities who get extremely mad.
Each season, the show has to change field agents, because they become too recognizable to celebrities.
After getting ‘punk'd,' Alex Rodriguez refused to let them air his segment on the show, and threatened to sue the show.
They made an announcement that the show had been cancelled, in order to make celebrities less suspicious.
Why Punk'd might not be annoying
It combines the antics of ‘TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes' and ‘Candid Camera.'
The show has been parodied on Chappelle's Show, and The Daily Show.
It has help start the careers of young comedians like Bill Hader and Dax Shepard.
It makes fools out of celebrities on national TV.
They've managed to keep a low profile, and rarely get noticed.
