Why they might be annoying
Their original band, 'Ghistor' was very short lived, not even being considered a band.
They prefer to spell the band name with a lowercase 's' (although it's sometimes seen with an 'S') and use an asterisk in the spelling.
Why they might not be annoying
Many critics say that Shawn has one of the most original, interesting, intriguing singing voices of indie rock bands of today. His voice has been compared to Robert Smith's voice.
They've been compared to The Pixies, New Order, The Cure and Talking Heads, yet compared to new independent rock bands like Interpol and The Raveonettes.
NME said about them: 'they are everything you want in a band, perfecting the role of one.'
Shawn, Amanda and Arthur met each other while attending the 'Pratt Institute of the Arts' in New York City and people believe that's where they got their 'creative vision' from.
Shawn is an established painting.
