Why Tru Calling might be annoying
The plot is a Groundhog Day ripoff.
Many Buffy fans were pissed when Eliza Dushku opted to this show, rather then a spinoff for her character Faith.
Tru always seemed to act serious, rarely making jokes.
They dropped the characters Meredith and Lindsay for no apparent reason.
They got Jason Priestley as a cast member, obviously for a ratings stunt.
The format stayed the same for most of the episodes.
Its second season was only six episodes.
Why Tru Calling might not be annoying
It is believed by many that is was prematurely canceled.
Ain't It Cool News called the second season 'the most improved show of the year.'
It added the twist of having Jason Priestley's character represent Death.
